Stuck in the bunker? Here are a few ways to give your chip shot the best chance at getting out of the rough and onto the green:
1. Choose your club – a 7 or 8 iron is ideal for a chip shot.
2. Mimic the grip you would use for a putt shot.
3. Move closer to the ball than a standard shot.
4. Stand with your shoulders level to the ground.
5. Keep your wrist stiff.
6. Swing straight towards the area you need the ball to go.
