Gaylord Springs Golf Links officials announced the Nancy Quarcelino School of Golf, an innovator and mainstay in golf instruction in Middle Tennessee, is moving to the The Golf Institute at Gaylord Springs.
Founded in 1992 by PGA Professional Nancy Quarcelino, the school has quickly become an acclaimed instruction facility in Tennessee and the United States. Co-owned and managed by Rita Reasons, another admired instructor, the school focuses on the unique qualities of students to tailor lessons to help meet each student’s goals.
“The addition of the Nancy Quarcelino School of Golf is a great complement to the instruction team of PGA pros at our state-of-the-art facility,” said Harry Taylor, director of operations and head golf pro at Gaylord Springs. “We are fortunate to have had Brian Lackey as our lead golf instructor since 2011, and Nancy and Rita joining our team will allow us to deepen our individual and group programs for adults and junior golfers of all levels of ability.”
“Like the team at Gaylord Springs, we think differently in our approach to golf instruction,” Quarcelino said. “Everything we provide is different from the status quo. We provide an environment favorable for skill development, producing results and a well-rounded approach specific to individual needs.”
Quarcelino is one of the Top 100 Teachers in GOLF Magazine, a Golf Digest Top 50 Best Women Teachers in America, is a former LPGA National Teacher of the Year and has been honored numerous times as Tennessee PGA Teacher of the Year as well as Middle Tennessee PGA Teacher of the Year.
Reasons was recognized as the LPGA National Teacher of the Year in 2009 and has been selected as a Golf for Women magazine Top 50 Teacher, GOLF Magazine Top Regional Teacher, Golf Digest Tennessee’s Best Instructors and US Kids Golf Top 50 Kids Teacher.
Lackey is among Golf Digest’s Top Teachers in the Tennessee and has been recognized as PGA Tennessee Teacher of the Year, PGA Middle Tennessee Teacher of the Year and PGA Teacher of the Year in the Tri-Cities Chapter.
The Golf Institute at Gaylord Springs is one of the leading golf instruction and club fitting facilities in the country, offering advanced diagnostic equipment, including a V-One System to analyze a golfer's swing and the newest Flight Scope Launch Monitor to analyze launch angles, ball speed and spins as well as swing impact conditions.
The Institute also offers an indoor hitting bay for year-round fitting and instruction, regardless of weather conditions. The unique design offers the ability to hit balls directly onto the driving range, allowing the golfer and the instructor to see actual ball flight.
